COMPARATIVE SEASONS OF LIFE BEFORE GOD ON THIS EARTH
In the Old Testament Period, there were widespread destructions. God arranged things in a pattern - a time of ongoing destruction during the prophet Elijah's era, and a time of paused destruction from the birth of Jesus until His crucifixion. This was all to fulfill what was written in the Holy Scriptures.
The words of God from famous Old Testament prophets woke up and warned foolish people in the time of Jesus on Earth when there were no technological distractions. Despite modern technology, people today can't recreate the ancient wonders of the world.
Elijah, a powerful prophet, came during a turbulent period in Israel. The nation had turned away from God to worship Baal, and their king, Ahab, married a princess from Sidon named Jezebel. Elijah was sent to show Israel their wrongs and encourage them to turn back to God. He had no permanent home, was known for his long hair and rough mantle, and was mainly a messenger. Elijah strongly denounced and rebuked kings, representing exclusivity and fiery energy.
Elijah, with his short temper, fierceness, and energy, stood out as a solitary figure. He disappeared in an extraordinary way, taken up to heaven in a whirlwind of fire chariots witnessed by his follower Elisha and fifty other prophets on the opposite side of the Jordan River.
The influence of Elijah's spirit has been at play since the moment Jesus Christ endured the crucifixion. It is believed that Elijah will return in the flesh, actively undertaking his assigned responsibilities in full view of the entire global population. This occurrence is anticipated to unfold before the great and formidable day of the Lord arrives.
Malachi 4 1 "For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven and all the proud; yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up ,” says the LORD of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch". [Ref. 2 Peter 3:7] 2 “But to you who fear My name (i.e. Christ Jesus) the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves". 3You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” says the LORD of hosts. 4“Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments"[Ref. Ex. 20:3] 5“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.[Ref. Matt. 11:14] 6“And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.[Ref. Is. 11:4]
1 Thessalonians 5 1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
2 Timothy 4 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
We gain insight into the philosophies, psychologies, and emotions of individuals by delving into the Holy Bible. Yet, contemplation arises regarding the perplexing attitudes of the family of Jesus Christ, His own kin, and the inhabitants of His hometown, Nazareth in Galilee (Old). This scrutiny unfolds during a fervent period of gospel dissemination for the glorification of God through His chosen prophet.
It appears that these individuals, despite lacking the technological distractions of mobile devices, exhibited a remarkable degree of foolishness, stubbornness, and barbarism. The narratives depict a populace seemingly devoid of rest or recollection, particularly during the era when the prophet Elijah's work was unfolding.
These were the same individuals who, in the Paused Destruction Period of Elijah's mission, derided Christ Jesus for His divine teachings. The scorn and mockery directed at Him during this phase, characterized by a hiatus in destructive events, positioned these foolish ones as adversaries to both the past and future in the grand scheme of the Lord Jesus Christ—the Most Jealous and the Consuming Fire.
The words of Jesus, declaring, "Elijah must come first!" during the Paused Destruction Period, allude to the Lord's foresight. The cessation of destruction for approximately 33 years, a period aligned with the fulfillment of Scriptures through Christ's crucifixion, exemplifies the merciful nature of God, refraining from immediate judgment on the foolish.
It is truly wondrous how God orchestrates events. Even an individual's alignment with God's will, empowered by His greatness, is a marvel. However, as we stand at the threshold of the Last Judgments, the Lord God in Christ Jesus emerges as more perceptive than lightning, surveying every nook and cranny of the world to address the sinners.
Additionally, drawing from the Dictionary of the Old Testament, we glean insights into the character of God's living weapon, Elijah, who has endured since 500 years before Christ. Described as possessing a short temper, fierceness, and an unwavering eagerness to execute the will of God for destruction, Elijah remains a formidable force.
Despite the relentless efforts of sinners to apprehend and harm God incarnate in Christ Jesus, their endeavors proved futile. They failed to comprehend the extraordinary nature of Jesus, who seamlessly manifested and disappeared within crowded spaces.
His abilities surpassed even those of the prophet Elijah, known as God's instrument. The disciples, witnessing these extraordinary feats, were moved to implore for similar powers to administer punishments and torments upon the sinners, mirroring the destructive capabilities of Elijah.
Since then, many miracles have occurred worldwide, bringing glory to God in different places. Now is the time to understand that God's instrument, Elijah, doesn't show mercy when dealing with sinners and takes swift action to bring about destruction in various ways.
Dear members of the global family, wish to impart a crucial reminder for consideration. Exercise caution when swiftly forming judgments about individuals or situations. Even the family, relatives, and community from Jesus' ancient hometown once anticipated His role as a tool during a period of paused destruction. Despite this, they were cognizant of the fact that God had created humanity in His own image.
Therefore do not be quick to hastily pass judgment without careful observation or thorough evaluation. Rapid assessments can be deceiving, potentially leading to a narrative akin to that of a contemporary foolish family ensnared by the living, short-tempered, fierce, and energetic prophet of God—Elijah. He remains poised for destruction without mercy upon the sinners.
John 7
1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him. 2 Now the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. 3 His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing". [Look! This is the mocking and the humiliation word from the family.] 4 “For no one does anything in secret while he himself seek to be known openly. If You do these things (i.e. preaching the words of God for healing), show Yourself to the world.” 5 For even His brothers did not believe in Him. [Ref. Psalm 69:8] 6 Then Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. 7 “The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil. [Ref. John 15:19] 8 “You go up to this feast, I am not yet going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come.” [i.e. Jesus was telling them the time about the Crucifixion and the Resurrection.] 33 Then Jesus said to them, "I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.[Ref Luke24:51] 34 You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come”.
1 Corinthians 1
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen and the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.
Matthew 10
14 Jesus said, “And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city shake off the dust from your feet. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of the judgment than for that city. 16 Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless doves".
Matthew 13
57 So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own hometown and in his own house”.
Luke 4
24 Then He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his (Nazareth's people) own hometown. [Ref. John 4:44]
John 5
41 Jesus answered and said to them, “I do not receive honor from men”. [1 Thessalonians 2:6]
Mark 14
62 Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven”. [Jesus had declared before they crucified Him on the cross that He would return to rule the universe for the Last Judgments with a Consuming Fire, but the weapon of God Elijah must come first in spiritual to a chosen one before the dreadful day according to Him].
2 Chronicles 16
9 “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose hearts are blameless toward Him. You have done foolishly in this; therefore, from now on you will have wars.
